    September purge

    Some random stuff...
The body portion of a Christmas gnome
A broiler pan that I thought went months ago
Some plastic cups that don't get used
A collapsible chair that was in our garage

Old wood sitting on a platform on the driveway- took two tractor cart loads and it's GONE to no man's land up the hill. AND dug out a clethra bush that had gone berserk and was just not worth the space. Long hard work, but DONE and also in no man's land!

It was made from a container with a lid. The head and arms were attached to the lid and the body was the bottom part of the container where you can fill it with candy or whatnot. So basically I kept the lid and plan on putting it on a little side table in our living room for the Winter months. I made sure it would look cute like that before I tossed the body and it did. I wouldn't have a spot for the whole thing since I rearranged some decor. I still liked it and wanted to keep it so i had to get creative.

Funny because I recently paid $60 for a Clethra 'Ruby Spires.'

I had the clethra for many years. It was in a front flower bed and I never saw it much....butterflies liked it and hummingbird insects, it smelled wonderful..like vanilla. It just is in the wrong place and I have no where else to give it space.

I had to look up Clethra And yes I’ve seen that around here. It’s a nice little shrub, maybe I will get one. I wonder if deer eat it?

Turned a dollar store salad bowl (that lived on top of my fridge unused for 7 years) into a planter of succulent starts from my garden, gave it to a friend for her birthday today. The bowl was orange, her favorite color, and she has been wanting a little succulent garden. Win-win!
