It was a rocky trip, but on the other hand, everyone started to bond, and they are all very close now.
We'll be married 25 years in December, and I'd love to take a trip to Scotland, just the two of us, but now we have two dogs that we don't want to leave behind, so that will have to wait. I would not mind a couple of dog free years just to travel, but doubt husband would agree to it.
Just bought the place we are living in August so major fixing and decorating. My goal is to, hopefully, have all done by end of November so we can go and do something fun for a few days. There are so many fun activities and things to do at this place during the winter so we'll wait until spring to do a major trip. I have a milestone birthday and anniversary. I will be looking for something extraordinary to do to celebrate.
There is certainly nothing wrong with doing something extraordinary if your circumstances permit it and that's what you want!
Oh god no, the kids had their own room and were watched over by the oldest, a 16 year old. Although we had the Westie in our room, now that I think of it.
It's kind of a blur, we went somewhere weird, Mammoth Caves, and it snowed. Although we did see Lincoln's birthplace, that was cool.
