Sports teams expecting tax payers to pay for stadium

I’m pretty tired of sports teams expecting tax payers to pay for stadiums.

Bears totally rebuilt Soldier Field in early 2000s. White Sox did a lot of upgrades to their ball park at least 15 years ago. They both want new stadiums and expect a lot of public money. Both teams are consistently very bad.

We’ve got better things to spend money on here in IL.

Wanting to move Kaufman stadium downtown, with no extra parking and have the taxpayers foot the bill so they stay in Jackson county (I say goodbye). Then instead of having some concert venue where it was, turn it just into a parking lot for the Chiefs/Lamar Hunt stadium, so more tailgating, getting hammered and drunk driving out of there at the cities approval.
