I wanted to share my good news. I've been working as a county-connected family mediator for a County agency for the past year in a temporary status. A permanent position was posted, I applied, and got the job:-). I am thrilled. I love the work, thoroughly enjoy my co-workers, the benefits are great, my office is ten blocks from my house so I walk to work every day. The hours work well with my kids' schedule, and my wife works just a few blocks from my office. To top it all off, my favorite garden store is two blocks from my office so I can hit the 50% off table as frequent as I like:-) Okay, maybe that is not a good thing:-) Oh, and did I mention great benefits. I am thrilled!
