    What is this emoticon about?

What is the meaning of this emoticon?

It looks to me like "I'm going to turn red and bite you repeatedly, then turn yellow again."

Well, if you put your mouse over it, the word "devil" appears. But your interpretation is more informative

The devil is sneaky and seductive and dangerous. Do not fool with him.

Oh goody, an emoticon Rorschach test...

I see a nice calm external persona trying to mask the very disturbed demon beast living inside....

Or perhaps it's just someone who has waited too long for a meal.

I think it is really cute; but I can't actually imagine a sentence that it could modify or augment that wasn't precisely what Gina said.

I'm in no danger of misusing it, though, because I can't focus long enough to learn how to put the little critters into posts. Heck, most of the time I can't stick with it long enough to actually post.

The longer I look at it, though, the more I like it...and I noticed that I wanted to attach male gender to "him." Hmmm....

I could see it being associated with some of the snarkier remarks here.
My therapist told me the way to achieve true inner peace is to finish what I start. So far today, I have finished two bags of M&Ms and a chocolate cake. I feel better already!

gotta say....that's the first thing I thought......PMS (from a person who was actually GLAD to finally get a hysterectomy because she no longer had one week out of the month where she had to force herself not to actually attack people, then drown herself in chocolate for comfort.

Of course, my ex-husband would pour gasoline on the problem, then light a match, but the first time my sweetie of the past thirty plus years encountered the "devil", he looked kindly at me and said, "BOY.....you really need a hug!" and pulled me down on his lap for a warm cuddle. I promptly burst into tears and the storm was over......boy did that guy know what he was doing, and ever after, it was never really bad......

but I sure could have used an emoticon like that, back in the day....hahahaha
