14-yr-old Annaliese Carr youngest to swim across Lake Ontario has already raised over $70,000.00 for Camp Trillium for children suffering with Cancer.
Amazing....came ashore at 8:58 p.m. at Marilyn Bell Park in Toronto...Park named for 16 year old Marilyn Bell who crossed the Lake in 1954.
Looked very tried but it good shape. It took over 27 hours.
I wasn't sure were to post this but, just wanted to celebrate such a success by someone so young.

What was amazing prior to the swim was the community fundraising and support for this very modest young woman and her charity of choice. Lovely to see and glad that she succeeded in her adventure.
