My sister had a blood pressure or cholesterol medicine that caused a dry cough.
Yes, those are the ACE inhibitors for high blood pressure. Cough is a common side effect. If the medicine ends in "...pril" like Ramipril, chances are it's an ACE inhibitor.Originally Posted by nswef

It very well could be reflux. Many people develop a cough from untreated reflux
