    That was my symptom for acid reflux. I never would have thought it would cause a cough. Soon as it was taken care of the cough went away.

    My sister had a blood pressure or cholesterol medicine that caused a dry cough.

    Yes, those are the ACE inhibitors for high blood pressure. Cough is a common side effect. If the medicine ends in "...pril" like Ramipril, chances are it's an ACE inhibitor.

    It very well could be reflux. Many people develop a cough from untreated reflux
