    Goat cheese recipes?

Recipes for making it, that is.

Does anyone make their own goat cheese? I have had a bottomless supply of goat milk lately (not my goats) and I have a recipe or two that are pretty okay, but I'd like to branch out and try something else. Anyone have a recipe/recipes that have been successful for you?

Never made it but I am instantly envious of your supply. Goat cheese is one of my absolute favorite foods! Have fun experimenting!

    We've been doing a trade....very lucky!

FYI, it's one of my favorite foods too. My current favey-fave thing to do with it is to crumble it into a big salad topped with toasted walnuts, dried cranberries, croutons, and a lemon-basil vinaigrette. I swear I could live on that sometimes, so good.

Try stirring it into chopped drained tomatoes, add fresh basil, garlic and olive oil. Sir into piping hot pasta freshly drained. Pinkalicious!

Not a cheese recipe, but you could also try making ice cream with the goat milk to use up the surplus.
