My big, beautiful, always-by-my-side dog, Shay, died last Tuesday. He was a rescue we adopted 4-1/2 years ago. He was between 10-12; I dearly loved that dog. I have no more tears; my heart is broken.

Sorry to hear, Glo. They are so special and it's sometimes hard to explain IRL how much you are grieving for the loss of a friend.
So sorry to hear about your loss. It is so sad the dogs in our lives have such short life spans compared to most of us humans.
