We have a queen-size wall bed in our third bedroom -- not like those in the link, tho. Ours is made locally and is beautiful and really looks like a fine piece of furniture. It is quite comfy as well.

oh wow, I love that stuff! I always like movable furniture, although I refuse to get a hide-a-bed sofa since they are so heavy.

But I love gateleg tables for their versitility.

One of my very earliest memories (age about 2 1/2) was going on a train to Chicago with my mother and staying in a place with a "bed that went up into the wall and disappeared". I thought it was literally some kind of a miracle. First it was there and then it wasn't. I was enchanted......I've thought they were really neat ever since......

Totally nifty! So interesting. Thanks Red! The fold-out bed being brought down on top of the desk with the glass display jar of pencils got me. I thought, "oh yeah, right, let's crush all the pencils sitting in the glass jar".
