The Nashville politican is more wrong than my governer in their sexual escapades because she abused public monies i do NOT expect piroty from politicans, that is silly. I am really really annoyed with our city attorney for spending public monies in taking down the governor for this entirely personal incident.

I will probably donate to his legal defense fund. While It is time for him to step down from politics because his ability to lead is compromised, the guy doesnt deserve to rack up huge legal bills.

The Donald has enough money for his own defense fund, but what has he been charged with again? I forget, or maybe I didnt hear about it. Or maybe it didnt happen, the charge I mean.

In fairness, the issue was more about the money than the sex in the case of Nashville. The seventh commandment seemed more important than the sixth.

Also in the Missouri case, while the Governor is in fact a Republican, he has only been so since 2015. It might be fairer to refer to him as "trans-party", or "a recovering Democrat".

I don't see howling mobs of puritans out there, especially on the right. They voted in Trump, after all.

Greitens, “trans party.” I love that!

Agree that the Nashville politician cooked her goose by using tax dollars to pay her boyfriend for trips away, not for simply having an extra marital affair.

You're right. I shouldn't have stated it that way. Especially since when I actually think about it, it's what's on the inside of him that I find repulsive. Well, that and the hair. I will shame him for that bad comb-over since it's a choice.

The most powerful guy in the world exploits a powerless intern, then perjures himself about it, and you want to make it about mere sex.

A mayor spends public money on her trysts, and you want to make it about mere sex.

A Governor (allegedly) attempts blackmail, and you want to make it about mere sex.

Who is the one with the hangup here?

I agree that. Bill'sbehavior was terribly unethical. However, even after the affair was over the intern didn't consider herself a victim. I'm willing to grant her the agency to make that determination. The person who harmed her the most in the whole thing was her 'friend' Linda Tripp.

Regarding Nashville, all my words matter.

But on the plus side for equality the democratic female governor of Nashville is now out after having an affair with her police security dude on the city's dime.

And I agree about the blackmail. Personally I don't think the affair, or the specific activity they were engaged in was anyone's business other than those involved and the guy's wife. Taking the blackmail photo, on the other hand, was a major problem and he deserves to have his career ended because of it. But to my original point, if we weren't so obsessed with our politico's sex lives maybe he wouldn't have felt the need to take a blackmail photo in the first place.
