I am reading Harry Potter And The Sorcerer's Stone. If you are not familiar with it, it is a very popular children's book, but oddly, grown-folks seem to love it too.
Why am I reading such a low-minded book? Well...
I met a woman at Whole Foods. She is a cashier. She is about 30. There was a peculiar tattoo on her forearm. So I asked about it. She said it was a Harry Potter thing. She suggested I read the books. I was like, "No thanks, I am an adult." haha
She asked me about reading them again a couple weeks later. So I said: "I will read Harry Potter if you read a book I suggest."
She went "Psha!" and she said: "I dunno about that..."
Then a few days later I saw her again and she said: "Okay, what book do you want me to read?"
I said: "Welcome to The Monkey House" By Kurt Vonnegut.
She wrote it down on a piece of paper and stuffed it in her pocket. So I said: "Looks like we have a book club of two." haha
