That is what I was thinking, quotas. When a place opens up for cis/white/male perhaps UL will qualify.

Maybe he is the one who doesn't want her to meet any more straight, white men who seem interested in her.

If you really want to meet her you could tell him you're bisexual, attracted to him, and have considered your get-togethers with him dates. (I am borrowing part of a Roseanne episode here.)

Maybe you were too aggressive about meeting her and he was protecting her as she and he don't need to deal with needy male friends. Sounds harsh to say this but some unattached males expect too much. Your friendship is with him so enjoy it.
As Cicero said, “Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all the others.”

So am I, but that doesn't necessarily mean I'm straight... Or even male... :-)

I have known and been hanging out with this dude since August. Just yesterday I expressed wanting to meet his significant other because I have heard so much about her. But yeah, maybe too aggressive, sure. haha

Maybe, but he has said: "I cannot wait until 2050 when white people are the minority in the US."
