    Trout

I caught my limit of rainbows the other day. I thawed a few fillets for dinner tonight. Fried them in my cast iron with some olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic, and onion.

Turned out delicious! Harlan enjoyed it too. I ought to go catch some more!

I caught them from the shore at the lake a quick drive from my place. I used some jigs to get them to bite. Simple living pleasures! Jigging and then frying trout.

Nom nom! Some of my favorite memories are of my mother-in-law(pbuh) teaching me to fly fish when I was a kid.

That sounds so great! Nothing like doubling up on the pleasure! 1-sit and catch; 2-eat!
