    Closing for emails?

When one is sending emails that take the place of letters, it seems to me to require a gentle closing. For family, I can use 'hugs' or 'love you' or similar but what does one use for friends and acquaintances?

One friend uses 'cheers' or 'have a great day'. I have been using 'as ever' but need some more ideas for an email closing. What do you use?
As Cicero said, “Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all the others.”

In work emails I would use often used "Thanks" (if requesting anything), "Best" or "Regards."

I use regards for acquaintances and for work emails or thanks if I'm asking them for a favor.

I just say "take care" and my name for general endings.

For personal emails, I often use nothing, just my name. Might use "take care" or "love" or something similar, depending on the situation - maybe the person I'm replying to has been going through some tough times.

At work, it's generally "thanks" or "regards."

May I admit I loathe "thanks in advance"?

For friends -- someone that emails me ends it with saying -- All good wishes -- I really like that closing.

For acquaintances you can maybe say -- Regards-- it might be a little too formal though...

I am with you. Feels manipulative to me.

I usually just sign my name. Sometimes I use Thanks or Thank You. Occasionally I use Best but it feels odd to me

It depends on the relationship--with some, no closing; with others Your Friend.

For friends or family I use "Ciao," "All the Best," or "See you soon." Sometimes I use "Take care," too.
