If we don't get an independent prosecutor to investigate how deeply the Trump administration is in thrall to Russia, it certainly will be a threat to our democracy. Putin probably can't contain his glee.

Vive la France! Voters there can't be so easily fooled.

I'm disappointed that Director Comey was fired. He seemed to me to be a man of great personal integrity who was unfortunately thrust into the political limelight after AG Lynch met privately with Bill Clinton during Hillary's investigation. I don't think we could ask for a better Director of the FBI and I'm sad that we've lost him.

Apparently, he was inching closer to the truth. Trump fired him in a particularly cruel way--but that's the way he works. It's all about the enemies' list with him. And money.

The article seems to indicate this is merely the normal end-of-tour troup rotations, and not an increase in force levels, or change of mission. Given that the present administration can't issue a believable press release simply indicating what day of the week it is, who knows though?

The soap opera type of day to day news is what worries me. It all seems so impulsive and non-presidential.

Bar Syrian Refugees from entering the country, but see a suffering child and send over bombers.

Get messages from Sally Yates that there was a problem with Flynn and fire the messenger and let the problem fester and boil over.

Talk about how pro life you are but talk about cutting Medicaid and food stamps for children.

critiicize Obama for his vacations and spend oodles of money just in the first few months

Add that to the ongoing lies, flip flops, crazy tweets makes me suspicious of anything this administration does.

Maybe he'll appoint Jared Kushner after he brokers peace in the Middle East, advises the president and so on.

There's such a volume of drama and confusion from all fronts that it is quite difficult to sort out what is really going on.

I suppose that's the point though.
