Latest batch of flower show designs

Here is my Best in Show design at the Greater St. Louis Daffodil show:

But this one was better, it is cleaner and simpler, and has elegant lines that slightly curve:

And this one was avant garde, pretty cool, made from a jacket of birch bark I found on the ground:

This was a great show because i used all kinds of crap from my basement, using only about $3.00 in greenery. All Daffodil Society members bring dafs from their yards for us designers to use.

I told DH that finally I have Critical Mass in my basement, and can now run flower show competitions from that stash. I also lent containers to other designers at the show from my stash.

Lovely! I like the first one best. It actually seems cleaner and simpler to me because of the colors.

You agree with the judges, then, and that is ok!

Congratulations! They're all beautiful. I love the birch bark idea (that is birch bark, right?)

Oh, I missed the birch bark one first time. Now I'm torn . . .

I like #1 for the quiet graceful harmony, #2 for flowing visual and colour impact but # 3 with the bark seemed very down to earth in comparison.
Thanks for posting the pictures and sharing your creativity.
