I recently saw "Midsommar" and think it is up there with one of my fave films of the year so far. Everyone coming out of the cinema were like "what the hell did we just watch?!?" but I could not stop talking about it!

Finally got to see Toy Story 4. It was delightfully enchanting. Love the animation.

Our all-adult family saw Lion King Friday evening. We enjoyed it, but I honestly think I like the old animated one better.

We saw Toy Story 4 last week. It was nice! Those Toy Story story films are lovely. First time in movie theater in over 6 months. I have never been away that long.

Midsommer is one of the few I am sorry to have missed in the theater.

Quinten Teratino movie was very weird. Once upon a time in Hollywood. At least not violent until the very end.

I felt the same way after watching it last night. The visuals technique of creating the talking animals and gathering all the animals in one place for the announcement or at the watering hole is wonderful to see. The evil critters were very effective as well. i felt the background music kept reminding me of a composer but could not put a name to it. The songs were cute. I did enjoy it!

I haven't seen the new Lion King but read an interesting review about how amazing the effects were and how technology is/will be able to manipulate any image these days to appear real.
