I've been thinking of you and the missing Malaysia plane that was headed for Beijing. I hope no one you know was on it. It's such a tragedy, and I keep hoping that they're all somewhere safe.

I don't know anyone who was on the plane. Some friends are friends with the Canadian couple who was lost -- I am aching for their family, especially their kids who were apparently with their grandparents. The hotel where they put everyone up is in our neighborhood and I passed by on Sunday -- really distressing to see all the satellite trucks outside, and know they are basically sending out the same news over and over again.

One positive thing that has come out of it in our family is that DH seems to be open to getting our own paperwork in order. We really need to draw up a will, put a trust in place for our kids, etc. I know I have been talking about it forever. Hopefully this year we can actually get it done.

Glad to hear you are okay.........but like you, my heart is aching for those people. When they show pictures of the grieving people, I just have to turn away. I keep hoping it was hijacked and traveled in those radar-less places and landed safely somewhere....... Hope springs eternal.....
But I try to tell myself that absolutely none of us are guaranteed even the next minute, so we have to appreciate every moment.
