I am not sure whether to post this here or in the Frugality forum. I have been using an app called Mealboard to keep a pantry inventory, do my shopping list, and keep some recipes on. I am going to start adding in the price of things I regularly purchase, and did some research on this only to find there isn't an app that is really good at it. It also seems that one must keep track of prices themselves, there doesn't seem to be an app or anything that would allow you to keep a list of a particular store's current prices, and to be able to compare that with others. It seems like it would be an easy thing for, say, Walmart to give you some sort of online access to all your purchases that could be downloaded, or for them to even have their own app that you could sigh in to. But, they do not. I have to either input prices while I am in the store or go over my receipts and input them later.
