I couldn't believe this little guy stayed put long enough for me to get a few shots of him. I had my telephoto lens on the camera, and he was very close, so I was afraid it would be blurry.......but it worked out okay. It's a male Indigo bunting.

That is beautiful. Firstly, I am gobsmacked by his stunning bright blue color! and his pose is lovely, and then the final touch is those pretty pink flowers.

Thanks everyone. I just point and shoot! All the beautiful things around me make me look good. :)

The blues this spring (Indigo Buntings and Bluebirds) are really exceptionally bright blue this year.

I opened the drapes this morning at the same window, and there was a hummingbird staring at me! Didn't have my camera close by though.
