New Road Map Facebook page

I just want to mention that our parent site does a great job with Facebook posts.. the articles are always interesting and I almost always click on them to read more. I know how hard it is to compete for attention in social media--I just wanted to give them a pat on the back for a job well done.

I notice there is no Facebook link on the main NRM web page, though? Did I miss it? I don't need it, obviously, but it might attract more Facebook likes.

Did you "like" their Facebook page? The articles I'm referring to are posted to my news feed as a result of the FB "like."

The vagaries of Facebook . . .
Facebook (at least this week's incarnation) will add news items from Pages (like New Road Map's) to your news feed - but -
if you have more than a few hundred friends, Facebook's algorithm kicks in and it starts to guess which items to send you. So, some see the news. Some don't.
The more direct way is to click on Page link (on the left on my screen). After you've done that a few times, Facebook might take the hint.
The other squirrelly thing about Facebook is that it is trying to encourage non-profits to spend money to Boost the news items by dropping our priority in your feed. We don't Boost.

Thanks Alan, yes I did "like" the group a long time ago...went to it yesterday and my like was not turned on. Have been off the internet for many months now and noticed the like was not clicked on, so I turned it on again. Have seen this with other groups I was a part of...
