We've been renting movies on the weekends from Redbox. It's very inexpensive and works out well.
Here's my question......I can't seem to find an answer online...........
If my VISA is the primary card on my Rebox accout, but DH's VISA is listed as a secondary VISA, can he use it to pick up movies that I reserve?
It seems like that's why they must have asked if I wanted a secondary card on the account, but I want to be sure.
Thanks.

Not sure about that, but I'm just wondering if your next thread today is going to a question about the Boston Redsox :)

You could just have him try it and see if it works.

LOL catherine! hahaha I almost didn't read this, 'cause I thought it was my Redfox post. hahahaha I'm just getting all my Red questions out of the way. :)

Cecelia.....we should have tried it before now. But if it doesn't work on his way home on Friday, we won't be able to get it for the weekend. We live sort of far from everything.

Since the order was placed with your card, the machine would have no way of recognizing and accepting another. Your DH's card would only be good for movies that he rented using it to reserve. It's a machine thing, lol. A live person could substitute.
Ask him to reserve the same movie with his card as there are usually several copies available with enough warning or he could choose another movie this time on his card.

But why would Redbox (when I registered), have asked for a another VISA card number?
Hmmm.....if he's going to pick up the movie, then maybe I can go into my account, and change the "primary" card to his? They have dots next to the credit cards that you list. You can choose one or the other.......so maybe for this movie, I need to make his the "primary"?

You should be able to select the card at the time of the reservation, no different then online shopping. Then he has the card with him and you don't have to remember the number. Just make sure you remember to do that, though.
