Your political bias (http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/wonkblog/wp/2014/06/12/your-house-says-an-awful-lot-about-your-politics/) is very accurate in predicting what kind of community you want to live in.
Not sure about that. I have a strong preference for leafy suburban cities, which would make me a conservative. I would love to live in a detached townhouse with a small yard,--they're not available around here--which would make me a liberal. I couldn't care less about symphonies and theater and ballet, which would make me philistine, but I understand they're an integral part of a vibrant community. I do like museums. My neighborhood isn't particularly walkable, but it votes primarily Democratic and contributes more money to Democrats than to Republicans. I've lived in urban--twice right downtown--and suburban areas, and strongly prefer the suburbs, though I do miss being able to walk easily to amenities. For me, the best neighborhood would be a mix, minus mcmansions and crime.

I suspect it's the other way around. The type of community you want to live in as an accurate predictor of your political leanings. From what I read of the article it seems to differentiate between communal aspirations and individual aspirations.
I aspire to rural living myself. What does that say about me?

According to the poll you are "Consistently Conservative" - and rural living wanna-be's are the highest category of consistently conservatives people (more so than MacMansion dwellers).
I'd like a dinky house or tiny apt. in a very walkable/bikable small city surrounded by large tracts of open wilderness space so not sure where I'd fit in. But all that is mainly because I'm lazy and cheap don't want to maintain or pay for a big house or car and have to drive everywhere - not so much about my political leanings which would probably be "mixed".
