Way too hot too soon!!

It is supposed to be 86 today. I don't ever recall a spring this warm so early in the year. I certainly hope summer doesn't follow suit...

Austin Texas. We generally have long summers - 90 and above from May through September but I have never seen it get this hot in March.

Last Thursday here in St. Louis it was 85 degree F but it's just one day, I wouldn't get all bent out of shape about it. Next week we could have snow, it happens.

I want to be where you are. We had a foot of snow last night and are suppose to get up to two feet of snow over the weekend.


Edited: Correction they are now saying 3 feet of snow over the weekend. I now must go out and shovel and fire up the good old Honda snow blower. Enjoy your hot weather it is 24 degrees here now.

Seems like the weather in the past few years is pretty variable. I've found that if its really cold in the winter, it tends to be hotter than usual in the summer. Also, if there's a ton of rain in late winter, then there's a drought in the summer. We just roll with the punches. But we don't have to like it. haha
I always get worried if it gets consistently super hot in April, 'cause that usually is a bad sign for a really hot summer.
I would die without a.c. I truly would. I guess in earlier times, that would weed out the weak. haha

Last year it seemed to get pretty hot pretty early in Southern CA (yea it never gets that cold, but when you're burning up early in the year something is not right). And I was just dreading summer.

And then except for two brief super hot heatwaves we had pretty much the coolest summer EVER. I mean yea the climate is pretty messed up from climate change, but as to your own personal fears of being super hot this summer: it might not happen. It does seem warm a bit early right now here too, but I certainly wouldn't call it too hot yet here. I guess it's just another perfect day :) LOL But yea I do dread the times when it really is insanely hot and they do happen more.

Not warm here, not even above zero (celsius) at night but perfect maple sugaring weather....it looks a lot warmer than it feels. I'd like a bit more warm, too, please!

We are having our usual March weather in the Lake Erie area. The snow has melted and the buds are starting to bulge.

Well I was out for a morning run in a park near the beach in "sunny" Southern Calif yesterday and got hailed on! Pretty cold here for this time of year but - being a snow bunny - I love it!

Average daily temps are about 60 here or lower. Everyone is itching for the warmth.
