Bulk buying food. Rye vs wheat.

Just purchased 25kg of organic Rye groats for £28 including delivery. I plan to completely replace wheat in my diet for Rye. I have heard Rye is so much better for you and helps you lose weight. The bread comes out quite solid but tastes divine. The cookies are the best I have ever tasted. I have a grain mill on my kenwood chef which I use to make flour and a hand roller for making flakes. Anyone tried something similar?

well, the Rye porridge is fantastic! The bread making is a little more difficult as it is very dense, I am going to try tortilla wraps next.
