Geez.......in my big clean-out I'm finding so many things I bought but never used. Anyone ever use a Clay onion Roaster? I have one from Sonoma Williams that I've never used, but of course........it's made in China.
Just wondering if it's worth keeping. Probably not.........since I've been roasting onions for many years without it.

CathyA, cleaning out was a real education for me. What possessed me to keep so many things that I never used. I have cake decorating supplies and never ever make a cake and a whole set for making noodles which I did twice over 20 years ago. I think I will go clean out the kitchen after I turn off the computer.

You go girl! haha I think, for me, I needed to let enough time go by so some things just didn't matter to me anymore. Or.......I finally realized that, at almost age 65, some things just ain't gonna happen!
I'm sure going to approach buying things differently now, since it's such a royal pain to go through them later and decide where it needs to go...........Caring Center? Goodwill? Recycling? Children? Relatives?
I've been cleaning out tons of stuff these past 2 weeks, but I have the feeling it will be an ongoing activity.........like peeling an onion. I'll be able to let go of more things next year, and more the year after. But I sure feel good about the few empty spaces I've created now.

Go get that kitchen sweetana!

ah yes, the pasta maker. I'd love to get rid of or, unused after 20 years, but DH is unable to let things like that go. And making noodles by rolling out dough on the counter and cutting with a knife the the wya his mom always made them. Hey, I think I'll sell that idea to him.

:-) I did discover one problem. If I get rid of those things at the back of the cubboards, the things I use tend to move back and I cannot then find them. Sometimes I think I am using the junk to hold the used daily things in place at the front.
