Just for fun...Going through an exercise for a marketing class and the question is "If you knew your family/pets were safe and had 1 hour to gather up what you would take for the rest of you life, what would you bring with you?" Be very specific.

I had to pose this question to each family member. Think only of yourself in this exercise. As a mom, I cannot bring for others, only myself.

1. My Purse with keys, wallet, lip balm, mascara, sunglasses, reading glasses,
2, Laptop
3. Box with photos- probably would have to pull some off the wall too.
4.Wardrobe- 2 pairs of my cowgirl boots, 1 pair of flip flops, 2 pairs of jeans and 5 t-shirts, jacket, fleece, scarf and undergear.
5. Wedding ring and earrings , 1 bracelet and my favorite 2 necklaces given to me by my hubby and son.
6. Important documents
7. Meds and bathroom necessities
8. Down comforter
9. Reusable bottle

My son's answers.
1. Box of Legos and a few books
2. His swim trunks and goggles
3. 4 t shirts and 2 shorts/1 jean, his red winter jacket with fleece hat, favorite Captain American zip up sweatshirt, Flip flops/sneakers and undergear.

5. Pistachios and peanut butter :)
6. Toothbrush

Hubby

This made me really think and shows me what people put emphasis on and how they think and giggle at some choices but priorities are priorities.

Being a pretty hardcore minimalist I could pretty much take everything I owned and put it in my car (with room to spare!) in less than 15 minutes. But if I only had a few minutes (raging fire outside the front door - or raging zombies :-)) then I'd grab my small purse, a small fire proof safe that has copies of all my important papers and some irreplaceable photos, and the smell box of photos, my firearms & ammo (mainly because I wouldn't want them to be gotten by looters but also for the zombies :-)!), my bike and trailer and car, and that's it. Really don't own anything else except some clothes, basic kitchen stuff and furniture. I'm not a sentimental or knick-knaky person, don't have jewelry, or anything expensive.
