I just finished reading and studying this book. I am very excited about going forward and working with it. It really is a good book about hoe introverts can work with strengths in influencing effectively instead of being shut down by working with extroverted colleagues and sometimes struggling to be effective.
There are a few areas you can evaluate yourself on and then plan how to improve. I found my weakness is around social media, it makes sense because through my job there are several ways we are blocked from using social media. However there are a few ways that I can use our website and other means to reach out. I have a huge push I need to do to increase the registrations in my child care program. Like double my main program that brings in income. Our new families in the neighborhood are more working and affluent families and have access to online information and ability to pay.
There were other areas in the book that were super helpful even if you test higher in your abilities. It just made sense of the ways that I feel I am effective and influencing others in my workplace. I just didn't understand what was effective and why it is effective, but understanding better is super nice.
