This is what a political debate should look like

Vermont recently held its gubernatorial debate, and the Washington Post reported on it in this article (http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/the-fix/wp/2014/10/14/the-six-best-sentences-written-about-vermonts-beard-filled-gubernatorial-debate/)

But you have to watch at least the first couple of minutes (video link below), in which the candidates are introduced. If I didn't love this so much, I'd liken it to a political parody on Saturday Night Live

Ha Ha Ha - Only in Vermont! Hats and sequins and beards oh my. If it wasn't Vermont I'd think I was watching a re-make of Deliverance. We have some pretty wacky individuals here in Calif running for various local offices but then that's to be expected here :-)!
