how stuff happens

So this is how stuff happens. I wore a cute outfit Friday but my office was burning hot. It is either terribly hot or terribly cold, hard to plan. So I lost it and ran to WalMart for a new top to get through the afternoon. My first new clothes in 3 months or so. Right now I am washing my bedding and it is not dry at 10:40 pm. So of course I want to run to the store and buy some new things. The kitty peed on my bed and it went through all layers, so I want a second set of everything. So that is more stuff, more and more stuff.

Some of it does not make sense, like how I could not find any underwear and yet I have 10 pairs in the laundry so obviously I did not need to buy more. Or how I have 10 pairs of pants and somehow I did not have the right shirt for any of them out of a half a closet of shirts.

I think your concept of "right" shirt might have to change. If you have 10 pair of pants surely one is black or navy or beige and almost anything would go with them.

I do think that two sets of sheets for a bed is helpful because we often cannot do the laundry right away.
