What dishwashing detergent?

Right now I am using Dawn dishwashing detergent and wanted to switch to Seventh Generation but have heard they were bought and their products are now being tested on animals. Any ideas of what I can use that is not tested on animals? Thanks, Chris

Chris, the health food store where I work (Basil Bandwagon in Clinton) has it on sale for $2.49!!! It's flying off the shelves at that price. The customers say it's really concentrated so you don't use much of it, and they really love it. Most are buying 4-5 bottles at a time.

I use baking soda with a couple drops of dish liquid. It works really well and doesn't bleach or fog up dishes.

I buy something at Costco that's eco friendly. I can't remember the name of it. I bought it two years ago and am still using it!

I wish I could, but I recycled the large bottle a few months ago. I poured it into a smaller bottle I'm reusing that has a different label. I don't think it's tested on animals. I'm pretty sure it was the only eco type brand they sold...it works really well.
