ouch, my tummy is not feeling at all good. Last night I added avacado to my burrito to test. It is on the maybe no/no list for fructose intolerance. So it is off the menu now, and I really love avacado. Overall I am still doing better and grateful that it is not gluten or lactose I can't have. Also now so many foods do not have high fructose corn syrup and label them. That includes pancake syrup and jelly (although I still can't eat jelly), plus ketchup, breads, and more. I can see when there is fruit in dishes most of the time. I forgot about it when I was on a retreat day that we brough food to share. For the retreat type people there is lots of adding pear to quinoa salads type food, but when we were sharing our food issues before lunch I didn't think about it. Everything was labeled and I got plenty to choose from. Skipping any type of dessert is best. Did you know whipped cream often uses HFCS? My brother makes real whipped cream so I got to eat dessert at Thanksgiving this year!

Oooooooooo, that trial and error thing "stinks". I have a similar problem due to PCS (postcholecystectomy syndrome - after gall bladder removal). Yet one more reason to use single ingredients and whole foods, not prepared and highly-processed foods.

If you like guacamole you can make a "mock" recipe with peas, which I believe are on your allowed list.

Wow, what an awesome idea! I can eat peas, thank you. My daughter had 6 inches of colon removed and the valve at the bottom of her stomach so she has some stomach issues as well. One thing is she can't drink the gallon of water a day some people recommend.

It is a bummer when you are around healthy food people who made great stuff and you still can't eat it!
