Swiffer's latest commercial

I think this is a bit much. They have a one-armed guy who's saying that the Swiffer duster/cleaner makes life a lot easier for him. I think that's just wrong.

I don't watch TV, but...I don't really understand how Swiffer makes anyone's life easier. Did they show a one armed person changing the pads many times? That would defeat their line of thought.

LOL ctg..........I didn't think of that! It seems like businesses are over-trying to reach all segments of society....even the one-armed people.

It's one of a series of commercials--the other one I remember is an elderly couple and they are shown struggling with certain dusting tasks, then Swiffer! arrives and saves the day, by making things easier.

It's an ad campaign. Same as any other ad campaign. And since the man with one arm presumably agreed to do the commercial and was paid for doing so, I don't see a problem.

hahaha, yes! I dumped my Swiffer (purchased because my cleaning man wanted it) for a squeeze mop.

It is great to show people with disabilities doing everything that everyone else does. I have spent 24 working with these individuals & they want to be treated just like everyone else. The commercial is awesome!
