My wardrobe consists of black, white, hot pink, charcoal gray, with silver jewelry, denim/chambray/touch of navy blue and a few brown/khaki/camel neutrals.

I went to Lowes and bought paint chips (the square single color ones) to match my color scheme, came home and laminated them, punch a hold in one corner and made my own color swatch deck. I attached to the inside of my purse as a reminder when I go shopping for clothing. I also laminated a small list of 8 items I need to fill in the gaps in my wardrobe and did the same thing. It's also fun to see in my purse every time I open it. Just a little DIY that might help y'all stay on track.

My list of items I need to fill in the gaps:
1. Ballet style shoes- 1 black, 1 neutral. Neutral just ordered
2. Black/white Cotton Scarf
3. Black skinny belt
4. Black straight leg pants
5. Tops- 1 hot pink, 1 black, 1 white
6. Black Fleece
7. Black/pink/white bathing suit- color does not matter, but we do spend a lot of time at the beach/pool.
8. Black sunglasses

Need:
If I come across these at a good price and budget allows:
1. Pair of black booties- flat
2. Black long jacket- lightweight wool, straight hang/fit
3. Hot pink cotton scarf

Yes, I wear a lot of black and I am ok with that, even with silver hair. I am craving simple right now and this is working out nice.

Great idea! I wear pretty much the same colors, although I am limiting the solid black tops near my face because they make me look so tired compared to white or hot pink. I should follow your lead and make a list of pieces that I need to build a solid wardrobe; mine is very casual and not so easily dressed up. At the same time, I am actively losing weight so keeping things bare bones for now is better for my wallet.

The navy blue, for me, is going away. Other than my winter jacket and about 4 pieces I love, the most of it's going away. I am liking the freedom and I feel dressed in blacked. I do wear a smidgeon of makeup to help me look alive.

I know this is a clothing forum but here goes:
1. Concealer- around my eyes
2. Blush
3. Bronzer- when needed
4. Mascara
5. Lip gloss

It's my go to for looking awake and alive. My general everyday look.

For special times or when I feel a little sassy or want a change up, I can add some eyeshadow to my eyes and hi lighter on my cheeks. That is all I own, other than a few chapsticks.
