Today I sold a dream

An old one I was hanging onto- just in case!!!

I have been trying to grow my pet related business for several years and after much going back and forth, the reality is it ain't gonna happen. My biggest reason for it not happening is honestly, I don't have the energy for such an undertaking in my life. Really, I am tired. LOL When I first started, this area hardly had any competition but now the area is oversaturated and I just don't have the fight in me.

So, I had a storage bin full of items I was decorating my office with- pillows, cute sayings, the name of my business, a few thrills and frills here and there, along with some office supplies...all packed away nicely while I slept on my choice. Well, I awoke today. I was tired of seeing that bin every time I would go into the office closet to put shred items in a box. I was giving myself until next December but today, it just felt right.

I put it up for sale on our HOA page, the entire lot for $85 and it sold in 15 minutes. They will be picking it up tonight. YEAH ME!!!!

Happy for you TxZen, and sending wishes that you can continue to let go of stuff. I can imagine it's hard to let go of stuff that is "the me that will never be".....

But!.....you are now free(er) to start being "the you that is YOU!"

I woke up very grateful this morning- for all the experiences and the opportunities in my life. Today, it's going to be 76 and I am going to enjoy my day, air out the house, do a little cleaning and really just have a slow, lovely day.

Part of this is opening up space- physical or otherwise for new adventure and life and I can't explain it, but it's coming back tenfold.
