HI all, I know there is a higher than average INFJ population. I used to be part of an INFJ email group which was nice but eventually it was time to leave. Right now I wonder how do other INFJ people deal with the world? I just am sensitive and sometimes honestly over-sensitive. I have had a sensitive week so I have not meditated but I am cranky and out of sorts. Mostly it is tone of people that after enough of it I get cranky. However I have developed some ways of dealing with life and taking care of myself. It is a real challenge to keep it up in a world that is super busy and pressured.
I signed up for a class on self care techniques for highly sensitive people, it is part of a meetup group. I am very excited about that. It has been postponed a week since we are expecting a snow storm tomorrow. I have meditation practice that is very supportive and I am going into classrooms to work with kids and I love that. I have very long hours typically ( I am on call from 6:30 am to 6;30 pm). I am running programs both before and after school and doing meetings a couple days a week. I have one day a week I schedule the middle of the day off and decline all meetings. This is the first year I have had support for that and it is super helpful. I am about ready to go to the fabric store so I can sew some pants during our snowstorm tomorrow. I think I am also accepting I need to plan on a good cry every month, it seems to happen so I might as well not feel bad about it.
Oh I forgot good healthy food!
Any other sensitive or INFJ people with ideas to share.
