My son turns 18 in a month! i have some mixed feelings about it but it is good. i realized i want to have a family BBQ for him with his sisters, their SO's, my sister and family. My parents are 10 hours away and often come out for things but i don't know if they will. And of course his friends who have been at my house for a few years all the time. He agreed, and even agreed to a zombie theme. he is indulging my dorky momminess. So i already found the way to put out food that looks like it is in a dead zombie body, i am pretty excited about that. pinterest is both inspiring and potentially a way to spend an entire day imagining that you can make cakes that are hollywood quality zombie faces. we have our traditional dead legs process for halloween and the fake blood we make by the gallon.

i am pretty sure this is the last one i get, when and if i get grandchildren i will do their parties by invite only. my kids are all so artistic (and creepy focused) that i am sure it won't be my job.

Sounds like some 'creepy' fun. Enjoy!

My youngest DD who will be 35 years old soon, always requests the same birthday dinner food and chocolate chip cookie cake she's had every year since she was 3 years old. And I always enjoy making it for her every year too.
