i ran the colors past my staff who is 25 and hip and adapted. So i want to make deep purple (like plum or eggplant) pants that are side zipped and ankle length style. that means just a little above the ankle and tapered rather than full. i have a pattern i have worked with to fit perfectly, leaving a little extra room at the waist but not ending up bagging all over like when i buy pants to fit my waist. the top will be a mustard color, i am deciding on the pattern still. there are styles that work well and others that do not look good on a petite large busted person. i think i am ready to get rid of my last front button shirt! there is no way to avoid gapping without going up 2 sizes. i have a cute top pattern that has a v-neck, back zipper and a peplum which also works with the middle age waist issue. i adapted that for bust and larger waist already.
