I caught this NPR story (http://www.npr.org/2015/02/26/389263274/living-small-in-the-city-with-more-singles-micro-housing-gets-big) on my way home last night.

As usual, the comments on the posted version are at least as interesting as the story itself.

Yes, I always love the dichotomy of people who "get it" regarding small homes and those who couldn't possibly live in less than 3,000 sq feet with at least 300 feet of that the master closet. I try not to read too many comment threads like that since nothing ever gets resolved and it ends up being a huge time suck for me with nothing worthwhile being gained. Sort of like watching the Housewives of NJ. Fun, but completely pointless.

Hahaha.

Thanks for the link, oldhat. Love listening to NPR. I live in a small apartment and could easily see myself in a tiny home. The thing is, I don't think people can imagine (me included) giving up half or more of their possessions to fit into one. I suppose that's what jp1 was saying about the master closet ... though I've never had one of those.
