I'm having digestive problems and am going to try some cabbage juice. Curious if any of you make it and have any suggestions?
Thanks.
(I don't have a juicer......just a blender and a food processor).

Ferment it. ie sauerkraut. This gets you the good bacteria.

What are your symptoms, or diagnosis from a physician? "Digestive problems" incorporates everything from inflammation, bacteria, to food intolerance, and a lot more!

I agree with herbgeek. If you have digestive problems consider using more pre-digested foods to give your system a break, like fermented vegetables and fruit, sprouted beans, lacto-fermented and/or sprouted grains/cereals, kefir (homemade with real kefir grains, naturally-leavened bread (aka sourdough made with a starter, not baker's yeast), fermented beverages.... I'd also incorporate more homemade bone broth in the diet (like several cups per day), as well as adding bovine gelatin to your diet.

Without a juicer, I think you may be asking for trouble by just blending cabbage because it will leave a lot of fiber and that may NOT be a good thing. Some nutrition "experts" are warning people not to eat raw cruciferous vegetables in large quantities because it can lead to thyroid diseases, especially if you aren't getting adequate iodine in your diet (in a form your body can absorb). If you happen to be a red head, you are already predisposed to thyroid problems (genetics).

I ran across some more information at Live Strong that would make me avoid cabbage juice if you have digestive problems - http://www.livestrong.com/article/548046-digestion-of-raw-cabbage/
