Happy News

I always kvetch and complain on these forums. I thought I should post some happy news. My daughter was accepted into Camp Rising Sun, run by the Louis August Jonas Foundation (http://www.lajf.org/). It's an all-scholarship, international leadership camp in New York State. She applied last year and was wait-listed. This year was her last chance because she will be too old next year. She was very, very nervous that she blew the interview. She just forwarded me her acceptance email. I'm very happy and relieved for her. She's the representative from New Mexico and will be one of 60 young women from over 30 countries.

Edited to Add: I don't know a great deal about the camp, but Pete Seeger was one of its alumni. That's good enough for me.
