howdy all, i have had such an evening. i was on a conference call planning retreats for the nun i study with when the landlord came to the door. i had my son try to get it but she saw me and tried to talk to me, basically i got a 60 day notice for the rental i am in. She is selling the property to her son. then during the call the power went out in the neighborhood so that was interesting, but okay. in any case i was starting to look at moving anyway. the place is too big for just me and my son and i am hoping to save a little on rent.

i talked to my mom and told her i was giving everyone a week to tell me if they gave me a hand me down something they would rather have back than get donated and then i was going to purge. i need to put that out on Facebook too, start finding a new place, etc. My mom is so funny and gets nervous, she is very worried that i won't find a place to live in 60 days. it is 60 days, i can find a place to live in 60 days i am sure. even though denver is one of the most popular cities now there are places to live,

You are starting with a great plan to purge...good luck and I hope you can find a great place that is smaller therefore cheaper!!

Moving is definitely stressful so i don't even you that. However, I guess this makes the decision for you about whether to move or take in a housemate.

Good luck on finding a new place that you like that's in your budget. Perhaps you should start a thread where we can all peruse craigslist and post our suggestions of places we think would be right for you. Undoubtedly it would be a completely useless use of your time, but it could be a fun, low-end version of Househunters for all of us. :-). yes i am renting month to month, and have been here about 4 1/2 years. i still want to stay close because my son's job is close and possible by bus if needed. another option is to take my dad up on his offer of his old little SUV and let my son drive my car and then we can live about anywhere on the north side of Denver.

if you would love to start looking i am looking in the park hill/stapleton area of denver, 2 bedrooms and must accept 2 cats. i don't think i will mention the snakes unless i have to, they are contained. depending on where you live in the US let me know what you think of the rental costs, outside of california and new york i think we are pretty high

Sometimes the universe conspires to move us forward. (I wish someone would throw me out of my house, but unfortunately, I own it.) Good luck on this new adventure!
