October 17th is the day!

Here is an update on my upcoming marriage plans. We will of course take care of the paperwork in downtown Phoenix so it's legal on paper. But the actual ceremony - October 17th. We looked at the calendar for October 17th and it turns out that day is a Saturday and it just seemed meant to be - my father passed on an October 17th and the SO had a relative that no longer spoke to him for being gay pass on on October 17th - different years, though, but same day. Now we are working out what kind of ceremony we'd like to have, and how to make it memorable but yet not complicated and not expensive. I'll post with updates as I have them. Rob
