View Full Version : Ok, the tiniest house, I think I'm done.
Looking for the woman in Tucson I saw lecture about alterative housing, I came across this instead.
It takes the tiny house to the extent of insanity, perhaps I can let go of my minimizing jones because I could never top this and sincerely wouldn't want to.
The house is traditional looking in that is it's made of wood with a peaked roof. it's got solar for electricity, and a toilet, sink and shower "fueled" with rainwater.
And it's 2'*2'.

So, fine, he likes to work standing up but what about sleeping???
So, fine, he likes to work standing up but what about sleeping???Oh, you really must read the the whole thing. He has hooks in the wall to attach a "vertical hammock". He also only bathes once a week and with no soap or shampoo because his waste water goes into his grandmas zucchinis. Somehow, even with all my ranting about overconsumption, I'm discovering limits. >8)
Looks like an outhouse! If prisoners were housed in such a place it would probably be considered cruel and unusual punishment. LOL
OK, I've seen "everything" now ... egad. People will do anything to get attention :(
April fools joke?I'm wondering, but it sort of brought home the idea of obsession anyway. :)
Yeah, I agree… maybe if he designed a snail shell that would fit him, that would be about as low as you could go small house wise.
I have to say, it makes me think of this hilarious Portlandia take-off on small houses:

In America it seems everything gets taken to the extreme anymore.

Had to look up that vertical hammock, as the only thing that crossed my mind, was the thing the astronauts sleep in, in space.
