On Amazon, I saw a plastic "banana slicer". It had a couple thousand reviews and a couple hundred questions about it. I made the incorrect assumption that it had so many reviews because all these people had bought one. I just couldn't believe it. What a totally unneeded piece of junk. But today, I actually read some of the reviews.........and they are hysterical!! Take a look at the reviews and questions. Glad to see that so many people think this is such a stupid device. I see they have something similar for slicing strawberries........hopefully the reviews of that are just as funny.

i haven't read the reviews, i just saw something on FB that suggested angry women may use it in a Lorena Bobbit fashion

Until a few years ago, people could post pictures for products on Amazon and there were some famous product reviews that used some of those pictures. Two I remember having funny and many write ups were the wolf shirt and a steering wheel desk. The steering wheel desk had lots of multi car pile up pictures that were removed.

Now Amazon will recommend me items similar to the banana slicer, darn you ;) But they've seen I'm interested in banana slicers ...

Cathy, I'm waiting for someone to join me for a telephone interview, and so I thought I'd take a look at the comments--and to be honest, I realized right away after reading the first one that I have to wait until later, because I am about to get a SERIOUS case of the giggles, just in time for some urologist to get on this call.

But I'm looking forward to it when I have the luxury of laughing later!

Oh no! I forgot that that might happen to people who looked at it. Well, just read the reviews, and maybe the laughs you get will be greater than the irritation of the pop-up ad!

I just read some more, and many of those people have a great sense of humor! I'm enjoying it.
