After I had a knee meniscus repair a number of years ago, I developed a horrible over-supination of the foot on that side. (supposedly that can happen without all the meniscus in the knee). I think it's causing me a lot of leg pain.
Anyone here have that? Was there a type/brand of athletic shoe that addressed that problem? I'm beginning to look for some online, but wondered if anyone here ever had a shoe for that particular problem.
I've been to podiatrists my whole life and found one I really liked. But with my last problem, he couldn't help, and I ended up fashioning my own orthotic to help. Haven't tried to construct an orthotic for this bad supination yet though.
(With some of my recent posts, you guys must picture me as Quasimodo.) Hmmmm......actually, that's not too far off. :~)
