Although I find her clothing line kind of slouchy and way out of my price range, I find it interesting that she chooses to promote her (somewhat) simple life philosophy to the media:

Hmm. I liked the philosophy, but the $435 wrap dress looks like an upscale hospital gown.

It is amusing how designers and companies look for new ways to sell us more clothes. Gradually, we become accustomed to the new shape or style.
I gather by looking at this and other clothing sites that huge pants are the new shape.
Maybe skinny pants have run their course?

Sigh. I just retired low rider flare legs again, I haven't even started on skinny pants or high waists, let alone allover big pants. Think I'll stick with yoga pants a few more years.

I love oversized, layered clothes; there are a couple of Chinese designers who do it very well. But I don't see any design in what this woman does. No color, no texture, no surprises. Maybe this is why simplicity doesn't sell--people think it's boring.

Gosh, these clothes are expensive, and nothing special that I can see. She seems to be sort of Gwynneth Paltrowing.

I liked Eileen Fisher clothes (still do) for attractive clothes that fit real bodies and have a certain elegance.
