I am back from my travels and on board once again. Just wanted to check in here and say howdy to everyone, it's been awhile. I have actually been back for two weeks - I just have had seemingly unending issues with Century Link as my ISP at home and I left them and went to Cox and I found them even worse than Century Link and cancelled them in just six days. Now I am using public Internet for everything and am trying to get things sorted out with Century Link - lol - wish me luck! But I digress, I'm around and glad to be back on this board once again. I do not know how Century Link even remains in business - they are horrid.

Welcome home! How was the trip?Wonderful, it was really great. I can see why people like to engage in long distance travel. Nothing quite like it to open your eyes and expand your horizons. I think my favorite part was being in Madrid and going to all three of the big museums there and having the chance to see all those priceless works of art by Goya, Picasso, Velasquez, Dali, etc. I especially appreciated the chance to spend a good twenty minutes absorbing Picasso's Guernica, absolutely incredible. So many other great parts of my trip but the art in Madrid was sure a highlight. Rob

I've never been to Spain - it sounds fantastic. I'm hoping to walk the Camino de Santiago within the next few years.

That's wonderful that you got to see all of that art in Madrid, Rob. We studied all of those artists in my Spanish class when I was a senior. Beautiful work. I'd love to travel there someday. I did take a train to Barcelona when I was working in Paris. I think you'd like the architecture. From there, we took a ferry to Mallorca. What a gorgeous place!
