I'm getting back to this after a lot of time away. It is absolutely clear to me that when I stick to my chains, my life is ten times better.
Here's the background information for those of you who need it:

I've been doing an a.m. home routine (meditation, prayer, input of earning and spending in Quicken, 5 minutes decluttering), an office decluttering routine (15 minutes every weekday), and a p.m. home routine (10 minutes of decluttering every afternoon or evening). I have big, big issues with clutter and housekeeping - in short, our house totally stresses me out because it's a disaster. I've simply never learned good habits. This strategy is helping me a lot.
The state of my current chains: 3 links in the a.m. home chain, 2 links in the office chain, and 2 in the p.m. home routine.
It's a start.
